The hottest trend in vinyl flooring today is in natural looking designs that reproduce the appearance of ceramic tile, hardwood and even stone! Today's products have both the texture and feel of real ceramic tile or hardwood, with a tough, durable finish that is much easier to maintain (and more forgiving due to vinyl's resilient nature) than the real thing!

Carpet & Flooring Network features the great brands you know and trust, such as Mannington and Congoleum. These are innovative companies that combine fashion-forward designs with durable performance.

Your Carpet & Flooring Network professional will provide a wide selection of samples for your consideration, right in your home or business. We have immediate access to large inventories of product for prompt installation by our craftsmen.

LINOLEUM- linoleum has been a mainstay floor covering for over 100 years because it is one of the few products made primarily from natural raw materials. It is a tough yet visually striking floor covering, highly resistant to heavy rolling loads and foot traffic. Because linoleum is a natural organic product, its performance is enhanced by time, as exposure to air serves to harden and increase its durability while remaining quiet and comfortable under foot.

Where health concerns are involved, linoleum products such as Marmoleum by Forbo or Corkoleum by Natural Cork and More, are the natural choice.  Linoleum’s anti-bacterial qualities fight the common allergens found in most living spaces.  Studies have shown that micro-organisms cannot live or breed on linoleum flooring.  Antiseptic, allergen-free and easy to clean, linoleum products are serious about health and the environment.

It is a natural product and it all starts with natural ingredients.  Linseed oil is pressed from the seeds of the flax plant.  Wood flour is obtained from lumber industry waste (sawdust) and controlled forests, where every tree felled is replaced.  Rosins are harvested from pine trees.  The beautiful colors of Marmoleum and Corkoleum are achieved by using environmentally responsible pigments, and the backing is woven with natural jute fibers.

After its long life (twenty-five years or more), linoleum is biodegradable.  Even the adhesives used to install the sheet goods and tiles are free of solvents.  You won’t find any harmful substances in linoleum, no lead, no formaldehyde, no plasticizers and no chlorine.

Linoleum makes an ideal choice for most rooms in the house, from the hallway, kitchen, mud rooms and children’s rooms, where traffic is likely to be the heaviest, to the family room, study or basement.
